Troubleshooting Audio Issues in Prevail.AI
If you are unable to hear audio during a live proceeding or when accessing audio recordings in a transcript summary, please follow these steps:
1. Check Your Device’s Audio
- Ensure your device’s volume is turned up and not muted.
- If using external speakers or headphones, verify they are properly connected.
2. Browser Settings
- Make sure your browser tab is not muted (right-click the tab and select ‘Unmute Site’).
- Refresh the Prevail.AI page and try again.
- Use a supported browser (we recommend Chrome or Edge with the latest updates).
3. Prevail.AI In-Platform Audio Controls
- In the transcript or deposition viewer, check the audio controls at the bottom of the summary panel.
- Confirm the in-app player’s volume is not muted and that playback is started from the beginning.
4. Network Connection
- Slow or disrupted internet can interrupt audio streams. Ensure you have a stable connection, preferably wired or strong Wi-Fi.
5. Security Settings and Permissions
- Make sure your browser and operating system have granted permission to play audio.
- If prompted, select “Allow” when the browser requests audio playback.
6. Try Another Device or Browser
- If the issue persists, try accessing Prevail.AI from another device or browser to see if the problem is device-specific.
Still having trouble? If none of these steps resolve your issue:
- Note the Case Name/Number and the time stamp where the issue occurs.
- Contact support via the in-app chat, or open a ticket with a description of the problem and your browser/device details.
